About our quality furniture
Our furniture is made with traditional joinery techniques using quality Australian , imported or recycled timber & European hardware.
The furniture is hand-made using time honoured methods such as mortise & tenon joints in dining table.& dovetails in drawers.
We use a range of finishes from hard wearing lacquers, oils & waxs to timeless French polish or quality Dulux paint. For beds & other high use pieces we spray lacquer & then hand polish with furniture oil to achieve a satin lustre that can be repolished to hide minor scuffs & marks.
We usually have in stock children’s beds in Kauri & recycled Oregon or can make large dining tables in timber not readily available such as Coachwood, Huon Pine or Australian cedar.
